So…

Whats the Process?

Here’s a quick rundown of how things usually work with AMH&M:

  1. INQUIRY

Send me a note to see if I am available on your wedding date! The quickest way to do it is by filling out our Contact Form. Don't wait if you’re interested in AMH&M’s services! We book up quickly!

  2. QUOTE

I’d love to take a peek at your Pinterest board and hear about your style, the vibe of your wedding, and what looks you love (or hate!) to get a good feeling for the bridal hair and makeup you envision. I’ll make sure I have all the details I need to give you the most accurate estimate. If you haven't decided yet, we can chat about it to give you some ideas! If you haven’t already, you can find a list of all of my services and pricing on the Services page to get an idea of what to expect. You’ll be able to make notes within your quote to make sure the services line up with what you need!

  3. book it

When you are happy with your quote, I’ll send over your contract! Once you have signed your contract and paid your deposit, you're in the books!

  4. Trial

Scheduling a trial is super helpful because you get to be absolutely positive you love your hair and makeup, and that we’re a good fit. Sometimes you aren’t sure of how something will look until you give it a try! Let’s get the experiments out of the way prior to the big day. A trial run is is our chance to play with a few different looks and eliminate the guess work. Sometimes brides like to schedule their trial before booking, sometimes they like to book first and schedule the trial 4-6 weeks from the wedding date (occasionally some like to have both trials).
Not everyone is able to have a trial, there are LOTS of couples that make Colorado their destination wedding! In that case, extra time is added onto your appointment to ensure we have the opportunity to make a change or two to your look.

  5. the in between

Generally we have 12 - 6 months between your booking and your wedding date, so I’ll send along a few check-in emails along the way. You’ll get a scheduling reminder and tips for making the most of your trial, a day-of schedule to share with your coordinator and photographer, and a final checkup to make sure that we’re on the same page with you, your bridal party, and your vendors that may be affected by your hair and makeup timing. And of course, don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns!

  6. The big day

AMH&M arrives fully equipped to help you look your absolute best on one of the happiest days of your life! You’ll receive a bridal touch-up kit including your custom lip color and a few emergency items you may have left behind.

WHAT MAKES AMH&M DIFFERENT?

Aside from hair and makeup lasting all day and night through hot hot heat, wind, snow, ATV trails, and hikes up and down mountains (you can find those testimonials on wedding wire!), AMH&M takes pride in laying the ground work to make your day as fun and stress-free as possible.

Vendor Coordination

We know there's more to your wedding day than your hair and makeup! From the beginning, we always communicate with your wedding coordinator, photographer, and any other vendors that may be affected by your "getting ready" schedule.

Timelines & To-do Lists

A detailed hair and makeup timeline ensures your day goes off without a hitch! A schedule keeps well intentioned moms and maids from going missing on coffee runs when we need someone in the hair and makeup chair. We also include an easy-peasy to-do list for you and your maids to make sure your hair and faces are appropriately prepped for us.

We're Licensed!

I’m a licensed cosmetologist and continually invest in education so that I can offer the best in fully mobile, on-location, hair and makeup services. Each of my additional artists are handpicked, licensed cosmetologists or estheticians so that you stay safe and healthy!

Tips & Tricks Along the way

You won't be left hanging, wondering if we've forgotten about you! You’ll get a few check-in emails, scheduling reminders and a couple of tips and blog posts that I think you'd enjoy (promise not to be spammy)!

Rental HAIR Extensions

Whether it’s up or down, most of those dreamy, voluminous styles you see on Instagram and Pinterest require a LOT more hair than the average person has. Renting can be a great way to get the look and save some cash! (Feel free to ask about permanent extensions, we're certified for that too!)
